SPIDER This early piece was created during my time at Cambridge where i was highly inspired by a female tutor 'Kate' who worked large scale in metal. Welding is very satisfying for me as a sculptor. I love it because it allows a reverse freedom to the stone or wood carving process. You build something rather than physically remove every tiny piece in order to reveal your idea, however it is still very labour intensive. "PAOS 2007 was very a successful time for me. I had lots of people through the door of my folksworth studio, who had travelled from near and far away which was very good to see. I also sold several pieces too!" Back to Artwork
